DAVID BLAND as a company, have been building Decks since 1991. Decking is a concept that utilizes your out door living space and turns your home inside out! Timber Decking has become popular over the last few years, but this is not just the 'Latest craze', Decking has been available in this country for many Years.

Decking is an attractive, inviting and versatile alternative to paving and in many cases such as steep slopes will add a new dimension and space to your garden with out the necessity of retaining walls. We build our Decking using High Quality fully treated Timber.

DAVID BLAND is able to Design all types of Decks from simple single level decks to complex multi level decks, Tree platforms and Tree Houses. When required we are happy to assist our clients with Planning permission, Structural Calculations & Building Regulations. All our Decking is constructed by experienced Carpenters. With minimal maintenance, our treated soft wood decks have a life expectancy of 30 years and with a life expectancy of 50 + years with one of our Hardwood decks decking can be regarded as a long term Home & Garden improvement and sound investment.

The most popular timber construction is with 'our own' Redwood, which is machined to our own unique profile. We also use, Western Red Cedar and various Hardwoods such as Malaysian Balau & Jarrah, African Iroko & Teak. All our timber is produced from Managed Forests and imported by local reputable Timber importers.
