DAVID BLAND Landscaping
David Bland was born and raised in Zambia. After leaving school David worked in the safari industry as a game guide. David and Jacqueline were married in Zambia and lived there for the first year of their marriage. They returned to Sussex for the birth of their first child and to cut a long story short, they stayed. After completing a Garden design course. David started up on his own as t h e g a r d e n design in 1985 initially working alone designing gardens but before long David decided to employ his own work force to carry out the 'construction' of his gardens & DAVID BLAND Landscaping was formed in 1986 - which now employs employees eleven 'core' staff with additional employees - usually doubling our numbers during the 'busy summer' season.
David is actively involved in the day to day management of DAVID BLAND Landscaping and t h e g a r d e n designer ltd.

Neal Taylor BSc Hon's QS
Neal Taylor first came to David Bland Landscaping at the age of 15 on a school work experience program and enjoyed the work so much he continued working for David on weekends and school holidays. After completing his A levels he travelled the world for a year before going to University to study Quantity Surveying ( and still worked for David during his holidays! ) After he graduated Neal worked for large National companies such as Wates Construction & Laing Civil Engineering. In January 2004, fourteen years after Neal first worked for David, Neal re-joined David Bland Landscaping as our 'new' Contracts Manager in January 2004 - this time as a senior member of the team ! Neal is our 'first point of contact' with our clients and will see every job through from Estimate to final completion. As Contracts Manager Neal is the 'key, pivot' in our company.
